This site is run by Wayne Frisby, a sole trader based in the UK. This page explains what data is collected when you visit wfrisby.com, why, and what your rights are.
The contact form
If you use the contact form, it collects your name, email address, and message. This is sent straight to Wayne by email so he can reply. It isn't stored in a database, added to a mailing list, or shared with anyone else.
Submissions are automatically checked for spam using an AI-assisted filter before they're sent. Genuine messages are never blocked; only submissions the filter is highly confident are spam get stopped.
Site analytics
This site tracks page visits itself, without any third-party analytics or advertising trackers (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, nothing like that).
That tracking is built to avoid identifying you:
- Your IP address is scrambled (hashed) before it's stored, so the original address is never kept.
- Visits are grouped into anonymous daily sessions, again without storing anything that identifies you personally.
- Only general details are recorded, such as which page was visited, roughly what device and browser were used, and where you arrived from.
Cookies
This site uses one cookie, set only if you land on a page that's running an A/B test. It just remembers which version of the page you saw, so you get a consistent experience on a return visit. It stores a version number, nothing about you personally, and expires after 90 days.
There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
FPL tools
The Fantasy Premier League tools (manager lookups, leaderboards, and similar) work with data that's already public on the official FPL site, looked up using the manager ID you provide. No account or personal details are needed to use them.
Where data is hosted
The site runs on a server in the EU. Email is sent using Resend, a transactional email provider.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think your data has been mishandled.
